Market for specialist BA consultancy

I'm posing a question out to you folks. Is there market demand for a specialist niche player consultancy in business analysis? There is an awful lot of projects out there, and everyone knows that the initial requirements piece is the most critical. Why not get a specialist niche player who really understands this area intimately to perform this work, rather than your standard do everything IT service provider?

Perhaps I should twit this question and see what I get back?
